The Battle of Midway was one of the most important naval battles of WWII. Six months after the event of Pearl Harbor the Battle of Midway took place. The U.S. had crypt-analysts who broke the Japanese Navy's code. So then the U.S. could decode the messages of the Japanese. The Japanese had their carrier's spread out so the commander of the the U.S. navy took this opportunity to fight because U.S. carrier's are bigger than the one's the Japanese use. The U.S. had started too attack the Japanese. The Japanese didn't even know what the strength the U.S. had but the U.S. had a good idea of what the Japanese strength was. The Battle of Midway lasted from June 4 to June 7, 1942 with the U.S. winning the battle.
